Dear Journalist,
Wolfe is pleased to announce our upcoming lesbian DVD title BLOOMINGTON, a collegiate coming-of-age drama in the tradition of the smash hit
LOVING ANNABELLE.
BLOOMINGTON tells the story of Jackie Kirk, the former child star of a sci-fi hit show. Hoping to find independence from her overbearing mother, Jackie (Sarah Stouffer,
Slacker P.I.), leaves California for the Midwest to attend college. But she doesn’t fit in with her peers, who seem put off by her celebrity status. At a department mixer, Jackie is instantly attracted to Catherine (Allison McAtee,
Iron Man), a young professor with a reputation. Both being outsiders, they develop an intense bond as they pursue a secret affair that is all-encompassing for Jackie – until she gets a call about a possible return to show biz.
BLOOMINGTON will be available on DVD from fine retailers everywhere May 1st, 2011. The film comes loaded with bonus features including commentary, making of featurette, and blooper reel. The title will also be available the same day on VOD, including Comcast, Time Warner, Amazon.com, ITunes, Netflix, Vudu and many more.
Please let us know if you would like to interview the film’s stars or director. And, if you have not received your DVD screener please let us know. See below for full details including downloadable box art and link to watch the trailer.
Thanks in advance for any coverage you can give us on this terrific lesbian feature!
