In the spirit of Sordid Lives, the
critically-acclaimed, international festival
hit Mangus! debuts on DVD and
VOD December 6th from Wolfe Video. Written
and directed by Ash Christian (Fat
Girls), Mangus! stars
Ryan Nelson Boggus (Baghdad Texas),
Jennifer Coolidge (American Pie,
TV’s “The Secret Life of the American
Teenager”), Heather Matarazzo (Welcome
to the Dollhouse, Hostel Part II) and
features cameo appearances by cult filmmaker
John Waters (Pink Flamingoes,
Hairspray) and Emmy Award® winner
Leslie Jordan (Sordid Lives, The
Help, TV’s "Will & Grace"). When Mangus Spedgwick (Boggus)
loses the role of Jesus in his high school
production of “Jesus Christ Spectacular,” he
fights with all he’s got to get the part
back and carry on the family tradition.

In the tradition of Sordid Lives!

HEATHER MATARAZZO is playing a character named Jessica Simpson,
reports the New York Post – but isn’t playing the singer in the film. Ms.
Matarazzo was last seen in Hostel 2 but is best known for her role of Dawn
Weiner in Welcome to the Dollhouse for which she won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance. She is also frequently recognized from her
roles in The Princess Diaries franchise, in which she co-stars with Anne
Hathaway and Julie Andrews, as well as the hit “Saved!” |

LESLIE JORDAN (best known for his Emmy Award winning role on
“Will and Grace”) is playing Bruce Jackson – the local theater teacher. |
